Today we met at sugarhouse it was the first day and i was kinda scared. we got there bill talked for a bit then we ran around the park. it was pretty easy for the first run. then we went to the field and ran four strides. i kinda felt like throwning up after! then we ran three hills they were hard and i thought i was going to die but i did it! then we ran around the pond and to the drinking fountain. when we got there we did 45 crunches and 30 pushups which was nice! i felt better after that!

Today we met at sugarhouse park. it was a buddy run day! we ran from there past highland then down onto imperial. from there we went to 33th south by the cemetary we turned on melborn and ran down that road and saw some nice mailboxs and flowers! my mom came and picked me up there. we dorve to tennis and we got a ticket on our way there haha! when i got home i ran another mile. it was very nice but i was sore and my calfs were balling up and they killed!

today we went to sunnyside park. we ran from there down into boniville glen. we ran around the path in there one and a half times. on the half time i had to tie my shoe so i stopped and did that and i was also tired and my legs hurt so i rested for a second thinking that someone was behind me then i look around and everyone was gone. so i started going and i was on the wrong path i saw somone on a different path so i followed them they were a ways ahead though! i finally got to the stairs went up them and started going on the road where there was a cross walk. i stopped and rested for a moment then i heard someone talking to me it was rj zobell he asked if i was lost i said yes so he helped me back to the park kinda imbarassing! oh well.

when we got to the park we streached it felt nice to streach! then we ran around a little path in the park. then we did a stride realy thing it was fun! after that i was tired! then we ran around the park twice. then we went home!

Good job! Bonneville Glen seemed harder than normal that day. And don't be embarrassed about getting lost. RJ gets lost a billion times more than that :)

today we met up by this is the place park. we ran up the shoreline trial to the fence. it was way hard but i did it. then we ran back down which was so much easier. when we got down to the bottom we ran over to the dog park and ran around there. then we did steps they were pretty nice.

then natalie took olivia, sage, camille, virginia, sam, and me home. on our way home we talked to a ups guy and he was very nice. then we drove past this old man and said hey then i said i like your overalls.  then we got to the light and he was behind us honking then he kept fallowing us. we circled around sams block like three times and he followed us it was so scary then we lost him at a red light.

Today we ran a lap around liberty park for a warm up i stayed up with sam so that i wouldnt slow down and walk casue i hate walking. we then split into groups and did fireman it was hard because we had natalie and susanna so they would get to the front and go so fast it was hard to stay up but i did. then we did a lap around for cool down. we got back and did core workout i am not as sore as yesterday so that is good!

Today olivia and i ran up harrison then across 18th east and down something south by shop and go. then to that four way stop on 16th east ran down there to eintsien bagel. when we got home we did our core. we ran about 25 minutes.

we met at sugarhouse today we ran down to fairmont park and did 8 strides i was kinda sore and very tired but i did it. then we ran back to sugarhouse i ran with patrick and he was how i made it i think i would have just fell on the ground and lay there if i didnt run with him. so that was good he pushed me through! once we got to sugarehouse we did circuits. i thought i was going to die but i did it!

Man you are doing so good. Sorry the circuit was back at Sugar house. It was to be at Fairmont while you where a little fresher and then back to the park was just going to be a cool down. But it will make you that stronger. You have a lot of talent and will be a huge part of our success this year. Thanks for deciding to join our team. It will be fun this summer and season.

today we met at sunnyside park. we ran into boniville glen and did one and a half laps in there. we went back to the park and i did 10 minutes of fartlek it was so hard because i was doing it with abigail and she was running kinda fast but i stayed up. i did my core when i got home!

i did another mile a bit after i did my core it was hot out but i did it.

You Rock! If you are up with Abigail at this point, I can't wait until the season starts. She was third last year at Region, Only Natalie and Susannah where ahead of her. How are your legs holding up? We will be doing some fun runs next week that should give them a break, and you should think about doing a 5K on July 4th to see where you are at. Rest and drink lots of water as it gets hotter out.

today we met at liberty park. we did a lap around for a warm up i stayed with nat and abigail for about the first mile then for the last half mile i had to slow it down they were going to fast. when we got back to the drinking fountain we streached then we went over to the hills. we did six continuious hills. i didnt walk i did a slow jog it was so hard but i did it! them we did one last lap around me and olivia just jogged it nice and easy. today was good!

ok so today i just was srtessed and went running and it was so hot out but i just went running! i ran down 17 east down 13 south and then down to 15 east down that street up 14 south i think and there was a hill so it was hard!! i didnt walk it was so hard not to walk it will make me stronger though and i want to get good so i pushed up the hill then i ran dwon harrison and back to my house i was sweating so bad i died but i did it! i did my core when i got home!

a site that is useful sometimes is gmap-pedometer.com to check your distance of the run sometimes. It will even show how much elevation gain you had on the run. Try it sometime. If your on roads you can pick the runner button or I like to just do manual straight lines which can go anywhere, sidewalks, across grass and through parks. Pick hybrid and it will show actual satellite shots.

woke up around 8 and did a nice run when it wasnt to hot. went all the way up 17th east to 9th south ran up that turned on 20th east ran all the way doen that to 13th south went down 13th south to 17east and ran back home it was hard cuase there was a long and meduim steep hill but i did it and now i feel good! i did my core when i got home.

today i went on a run around 130ish so it was hot i started running i went from my house down 17th east then when i got to 9th south then i went down that turned on 21th east and when i got to 13th south i went down that then back to 17th east and down to my house. i mapped it on map my run when i got home. i also did my core.

today we met at sugarhouse. bill started just talking and he told us that even if we are fit and have run before but if it hasnt been alot then dont try and push to be up with the older kids who have been training for 3 to 4 years so i dont want to be the one they have to talk to about trying to be some crazy person who is dieing becuase they are running with more advanced people. so we started of by doing a warm up we did a lap around on the grass i wasnt the last person but i was not in the front either i tried hard to not walk and keep a good pace. when i came to practice that morning i wasnt very tired but i had been having a little cramp but it was going away. wehn we were running i wasnt very tired but i couldnt run to fast. once we were done with that we did butt kicks and high knees and we skipped and did a couple other things. then we did circuits those were the probably the worst part of the workout but they hopefully will make me stronger and better. i really like doing xc znd want to keep it up so i am going to try hard and do my best.

today we met at the international peace gardens. for the newbees we did just a ten minute warm up then fartlek two sets of three minutes in and two off. i did most of it with olivia so i went my own pace and we are a good team so she ran with me! then we went back and i did my core. when i got to practice i was already sore but not tired so i ran pretty good. i hope i can get up running better soon. but now i am so sore and it hurts really bad!

Nice, wish we were at the beach, but when the team goes to Cali in December it is nice. Lower elevation should make your runs feel a little easier.

today we met at sunnyside park. im not sure exactly what the run was but we ran by the U and up in the avenues. i ran with sam most the time we walked very little it was kinda hard for me to run cause i didnt run for a day on my trip. it was good day i did my core back at the park.

today we met at the park were they do regions. we did a two mile warmup which was nice and easy. then we did eight strides i had a little cramp on the last two but i did it. then we did five bessies and i thought i was going to die by the end but i didnt walk so thats good. then we ran the regions course and i had to walk a tiny bit because i had no energy at all and i needed a drink once i got a drink i jogged the rest. so then i had no idea were to go so i followed some poeple and apparently i cut but i didnt know! so it was way hard today because by the end it was soo hot and i was dying then when i got home i did my core.

when i woke up i was sore and felt a little sick. we went up to pipeline today and for the first two and a half miles i ran quite a bit by myself. then i thought i was lost so i waited and sadie and sam came so i ran with them back. once we were done it felt really nice i didnt really feel tired or like i needed to walk. so it was a good run. i did my core when i got home.

today we met at liberty park. we did a warm up lap which was easy then we did firemen. i was with natalie, bill, amanda, becca, maggie, and abigail. when we started i felt pretty good but once we were halfway i was kinda tired. on the last 200 meters i was so tired and felt like i could have stopped i just slowed down but i didnt walk. then the last one was a cool down and i just did a very slow jog. after that we did core. i am now tired and sore.

today i ran from my house to sunnyside drive down that to 21st east then down 13th south and a little more. it was about 9:40 when i started so quite warm as i got going it got hotter and i was wearing a dark blue shirt and shorts so i was very warm. i am very sore and it hurt to go up some of the hills. i rolled my ancle on a rock on pipeline and i didnt think anything of it until yesterday when it started hurted now it is a tiny bit swollen but i have been putting ice on it and it has helped. i did it though so im glad and i feel good now. i did my core when i got home.

today we met at sunnyside. we did the 7/11 run we ran to 7 different ones we ran that whole time then at the park some of us did a half to make an even 8 then on the way back from liberty to sunnyside it was very hilly so we jogged and walked that. i dont think i will ever drink a slurpee again! I almost threw up and it was not nice! i dont feel as sore but i still am a bit.

today we met at wheeler farm we did a very long warm up!!! then we did 10 minutes of 10 minutes of fartlek. then we did a cool down. i ran with my family for the cool down so abigail sam and me it wasn't to bad. then we did leg holds or whatever they are called then arm swings then we ate watermelon!! it was good i felt nice and it never was too hot. i am sore but getting better.

today we met at sunnyside we went up sunnyside and down foothill forever till the flag i got a really bad cramp because i neede to use the restroom we went into like 3 different places and they didnt have public restrooms then we went in the family clinic and went there. i was tired coming back from the flag and didnt want to run but we kept going and got there. we did core at the park.

today we met at cootonwood complex we did a wamr up then strides. i felt good in the warm up and pretty good on the strides. i like doing strides they just seem fun to me. then we did ladder fartlek on the region course. it was hard but i did it. then we did half mile cool down barefoot. it felt good because i have a way bad blister on one foot. but the other foot i have a sliver so that didnt feel as good. then we did core.

\so i started off pretty good and at about mile 3 i was a little tired but i kept going and around the same pace. we started going on the parade route and people were cheering for us and i felt like i had alot of energy. one the last mile i ran with annie. we were on the last little strech and we strated going faster i was passsing lots of people. then i heard natalie cheering for us and i went faster. we crossed the finish line at about the same time. i felt good after until i got home. i hadnt eaten anything besides a little energy bar before the race. then i went in the bathroom and just sat by the toilet and then i finally threw up. after that i ate some and now i feel alot better!

Good job. First 10K. You have done a lot so far this summer and you will be an important part of our team this year. Fluids flow back to the stomach and intestines after a hard run and can bring on that sick feeling. Drink and eat something light can really help. Chocolate milk is one of my favorites.

we met at fairmont today we did two laps aroung the park and i could feel i was sore i wasnt to tired though. then we streched and talked about our races. then we did another two laps and a little. i could really feel how sore i was and it hurt and i was kinda tired but i just kept going cause i wanted to finish! now i feel good i think i need to try and drink more water becasue i get headaches if i dont. i did a little core when i got home.

today we met at jcc we started going and the first tiny bit was uphill and i knew i was going to die. we got rocks to carry up the hill and started going i went for a while without feeling to tired and walking. then we got to the really big hill and got going and i was dying! i walked a little then kept going it was really hard and it hurt. we finally got to the place where we all left our rocks and i felt like i was really light without the rocks. then we went to the turn around place and i was really tired. olivia was a ways ahead of me but i knew i wanted to catch her so i was going pretty fast i cought up to her and i felt good i felt like i could have gone a little faster but i stayed with her and we got down pretty fast. i was tired after and very thursty we got a drink then did core. i got home and i felt soo sore it hurts alot worse then yesterday.

ok so some of the girls said with the bikeing it all came to 7 miles. we met at the old kmart. we all got into cars and drove up to jeremy ranch. we got our bikes and started i was on a bike first and it was pretty easy. then i started running and still wasnt to tired on my second time biking we were more towards the front but then my bike would not pedal the dumb chain came off so some guy tried to help but it wasnt getting fixed so he gave me his bike and i kept going. when i got to the mile mark dakota had been waiting and i was pretty tired i started running and my left felt like jello but i kept going. every time i was on the bike and i got to the mile mark dakota was waitng and i felt bad. the bike was way to tall for me though and it hurt soo bad to ride!! on the last mile i was running and i felt tired but dakota was on the bike and he pushed me which helped. we finished and i went to get some water and it was hot water and it was so gross. the food was ok but i kinda felt sick so i didnt eat very much. i had a fun time but i am a bit sore now and tired. i did some core at home.

today we met at the real stadium we did a warm got our packets of things and just all got together before the race. the race started at eight. i started and felt good i went for about a mile and a half then my hip started to hurt really bad. i kept going then i got a horrible side ache and i could barley breath! i was ahead of annie the whole time then on the last uphill part she caught me then it was just the last little stretch and annie got ahead of me i pushed as hard as i could but she beat me by 4 seconds we did a cool down after that it felt good. i got 1st in  my age division.

today we met at sugarhouse park. we did a grass loop then went over to where we were doing hill repeats. bill talked for a bit then we did 7 hills. it was horrible but i didnt walk! then we did two little hill things from the state course. then we did a lap cool down. i was then at 7.5 so i did an extra half mile to make it an even 8. it was pretty good day i think i didnt do to bad on the hills and i felt good for most of it. i did my core when i got home.

well we started hill week yesteray and i hate it!! we did the jcc run today we got going and got our rocks i did pretty well on the way up and tried really hard not to walk. i went to the four mile mark and came back down to thw horrid hill. i started going on it to do ten and i just was so dead. i finally finished and i was thirsty and had a head ache and everything hurt i swear. we started going down and abigial got ahead of me then i caught her a ways later. we finished and i was so tired i had no energy. i drank a ton of water because i was so thursty. so total so far today is about 5 water bottles. so to sum it all up it was hard and now i am so tired. i never want to run the jcc trail again!

today we did the hike and i was way sore on the way going up. it was really fun up there then coming down my foot and hip hurt. so i counted two and a half miles from that then i did two miles on the tredmil when i got home. i also did some core.

Have fun at Powell and stretch to keep your hip from tightening up. Sitting in a car for a long time can aggravate that kind of thing.

today we met at sugarhouse and i hadnt run for 4 days because i was in powell. i swam alot but thats really all i could do. we did the state corse for our warmup then we did 10 with no breaks. i felt tired and like i had no energy, then we did two circuit sets and i felt like i was going to throw up the whole time i almost did but then i couldnt. we did the state corse backwards for the cool down i cut of one mile because i kept stopping to try and throw up. that was the worst day ever and i did horrible. hopefully i can do better tomorrow.

today we met at liberty. we did a lap warm up then did some strides. after that we did an 800 and i got 3:32 then off for half mile then we did a mile on and i got 7:06 that is the fastest i have ever run a mile in my life so i felt pretty good. then we did half mile off again then another on and i got 3:28 and i still was feeling ok. we did 2 laps cool down which all added up to eight for the day. we had a dutch oven breakfast at the park after.

today we did the pipeline run which i really like. i got going and felt pretty good we went out 40 minutes and i made it to the 5 mile mark. then we came back we did a little extra to make it ten all together. i would have never thought i could ever run 10 miles until today. i am qiute proud of my self for actually doing it.

am-today we did two laps in boniville glen. came back to sunnyside did 10 strides then did two big laps cool down. it was nice and easy.

pm- we met at sugarhouse did a little warm up then we had the race for placement i was 5th girl for varsity for most of the race but then i pushed up to fourth. my time was like 21 something. after we did a little cool down and had dinner.

today was at liberty park. which i do not like. we did a warm up lap then we did a fireman lap it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be but it was still hard! then we did some strides and a cool down lap then a little extra to amke it an even five.

today we alll drove out to settlement canyon for our first race. we did some shake out stuff when everyone was racing because we didnt race till 10:30. we finally did a warm up that was a mile long at about 10. we got in the line and started our race. i got in the middle and stayed in about the middle for the race. i really liked seeing people who were cheering for me because it would make me go faster. when i saw bill i had just passed about two girls and he told me to keep passing them and use my elbows. so a tiny bit after i passed him i did. i passed three girls. then when i saw a ton of poeple i knew i passed another four girls using my elbows and i dont think they were very happy i wasnt feeling to tired and i kept my pace pretty good. when i saw tomy at the turnplace he was telling me to speed up so i did a tiny bit then i passed another girl. i passe some more people from the team as i ran through the water. i sped up and finished i felt good and didnt think i did to bad. we did the corse backwards for our cool down and it felt long but i did it. i had a fun and pretty good first race i think.

today we met at cottonwood complex we did a warm up then we did six 800s i got 3:23, 3:20, 4:00, 4:20, and 4;10 so i definatley slowed down when i could have pushed harder and got closer to 3;30 so next time i will make sure i push. then we did a cool down.

today we met at sunnyside we did the shriner run and it was soo hot and misserable. i did not do very good. i am still adjusting to the heat.

today we did our workout after school at the track did a mile warm up, drills then a cool down two laps in boniville glen.

today we met at the track did a mile warm up a mile speed change then 3 minute on 3 minute break. then we did 3 big grass loops. i got a bad cramp in my stomach and it hurt really bad and it is still hurting so i am not quite sure what it is from.

we did a VA loop and i threw up so i only did the second i didnt run in the cemetary. we then did two 300's at the track.

earyly morning practice today we ran to sugarhouse then did a lap there. after school we did mile warm up mile speed change the two 200's then two 400's then another two 200's we did a mile cool down. and i was so tire after we did an ice bath and it felt really good.

today we had morning practice we ran to sunnyside did a warm up lap then did random fatrlek. after school we went down to liberty and did warm up lap then did tempo i had to run teo miles in sixteen minutes i did it in 15:40 and i felt good. we ran back up to the school and i didnt feel very good when we got there.

today we got to the race with about 20 minutes before our race i barely got warmed up and we had to go to the start. the race started and i didnt feel very good. annie passed me and olivia was on my tail. i felt horrible the whole time i tried to give it my all but i had nothing. it was not a very good race but thats ok. next race i will just try a little harder to be a little better. i got eigth for east girls and im hoping to do better this coming wednesday.

morning practice speed workout 400 200 chase i was with sarah and sarah and we were teamed with maggie abigial and olivia it was hard and i didnt feel to great but i didnt slack of.

after school we ran up to this is the place and made up a course for wednesday was hot and i was tired not very fun.

today we did a race against bountiful at this is the place park. i felt pretty good and even though it was a little longer. i got 10th over all so was pretty proud of myself.

we did three laps in the morning in the gulley. it was scary but felt good. thank you dakota and ethan for hiding behing every bush and scaring me! we did 10 barefoot strides on the football field when we got back. after school we ran cemetary lap and i didnt feel to good. we did 2 300's when we got back.

today we went down to byu we had our race for fresh/soph girls i felt good i had a personal record beat my other time by a full minute. i got 27th overall and didnt feel to bad.

today was horrible but im glad i got it over with today. we did two grass laps warm up. then we did one mile speed changes. we then started our 800's we did our first two and i wasnt to bad. then i got like four minutes on the third. the next two i did pretty good. then on the seventh one i didnt do as good. i tried doing another one and i probably could have but i only did one lap. i did not feel to good. did teo grass laps cool down. i wish i would have pushed through and gotten the right time on all eight i didnt though. i guess this is where i learn my lesseon hopefully i can push and do better the rest of this workout.
